Unfortunately, The Cinema Files url was taken. Bummer, I know, but I'm not going to sit and cry about it. So the new title of the blog is Recap. Rewind. Rewatch. And the new URL is: recap-rewind-rewatch.blogspot.com.

As you can see, the layout of the template has been changed. There are now lists of what I've been binge watching that will later have links to the recaps. There's also a recent movie watched list that will constantly change. You should pay attention to that list. Those movies are really good! And there's an obsessed with list which has the tv shows and/or movies that I'm completely obsessed with at the moment. As in, as soon as it's done recording or as soon as I get home, I watch the current episode. Because they're THAT good!

The blog archive is back on the blog, sorry for it's absence. And there's a small tidbit about what you should know about me so that I'm not a complete stranger to you all.

I'm not completely done with changing this. There may be new items being added all the time as I think of them or they become necessary.

Happy Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and April Fools Day everyone! 

I am so sorry that I have been completely MIA for these past few months. I had no idea how much school was going to kick my butt this semester but that is no excuse. After all, what are you supposed to do with all these new shows and no helpful reviews to guide you through? I know! How despicable of me! Well, from the deepest part of my heart, I am sorry.



My schedule is about to free up tremendously which means I can get back to these reviews and helping you navigate these shark infested waters of TV. Keep in mind, I have been a little biased because every show I review, I've come to deeply like. Haha! But, there will be some shows thrown in there that I don't particularly care for and you will know.

Now for some side business. There are going to be some changes done to the layout and title of this blog. It will no longer be called Nic's Island. I am changing the name and the URL to Recap. Rewind. Rewatch and Recap-Rewind-Rewatch.blogspot.com. It's so that people know exactly what they're getting from me. All reviews, all day. Of course, there's going to be some music stuff thrown in, but you get the general idea of what I'm trying to go for.

I will be implementing these changes on Sunday night so you have until then to acclimate yourself to Recap. Rewind. Rewatch. and not Nic's Island. Now that my schedule is free, I can get back to writing about what I love best and that is TV.

Now, in the upcoming posts, you will see some mixture of old and new. This is because some shows I've had just recently come across despite it being out for years such as Sex and the City or Desperate Housewives. And then there's new ones like Elementary, Golden Boy, Arrow, etc. So, if you see a post with an old show title, please do not comment about how the show is old or anything like that. Those posts will be for the late converters like myself.

So, if you come to the blog on Sunday and see a whole new design, do not freak out. It's only me! Your trusted reporter on everything cinema.
